US Capitol Building Tours:
Guided tours are conducted from 9:00am - 4:30pm, Monday through Saturday,
including federal holidays. No tours occur on Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Visitors must obtain free tickets for tours on a first-come, first-served
basis beginning at 9:00am each morning at the West front of the Capitol
facing the National Mall. Groups may reserve tickets in advance by contacting
their Congressional representative. The maximum group tour size is 40
individuals per half-hour. Each person, regardless of their age, must
have a ticket.
FBI Building: is currently closed for

Ford's Theatre, the Lincoln Museum, and Petersen
House: (the house where Lincoln died) are open from 9:00am - 5:00pm
every day except Christmas. Tours at Ford's Theatre are self-guided and
free of charge. In the theatre thirty minute historical talks occur at
fifteen past the hour except between 12:00pm - 2:00pm. Since Ford's Theatre
also functions as an active stage with live performances, there are times
when the theatre will be closed to the public. Matinees usually take place
on Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday afternoons, although rehearsals can
take place at any time or day.
